Publishing, LLC
Oestara Publishing is dedicated to new and vigorous writing chosen by editors for readers, not bureaucrats for marketing lists. Oestara fiction may share a vision, move with literary quality, or simply entertain, but it all has the life of stories authors really want to tell. Home page of Oestara Publishing, LLC: http://www.oestarapublishing.com Zollocco: A Novel of Another Universe by Cynthia Joyce Clay genre: Science Fiction: ecological A human woman finds herself transported from a dying Earth to the forest world of Ipernia, a place where plants and trees walk and forest life behaves as a collective consciousness. Hunted as a beast by an interplanetary corporation, she embarks on a magical adventure, traveling between cities, continents and worlds, embracing alien cultures and languages, yet always longing to return to the Forest Zollocco. As she proceeds on her journey, she begins to uncover a secret that may yet save Earth from destruction. http://www.oestarapublishing.com Book Reviewed: I Loved Zollocco. ~ Poly Kardia I have been an enthusiastic Science Fiction and Fantasy Fan for Decades. Zollocco rates up with the best in the business. I didn't want to put it down and was Delighted by the sense of Positive Hope I still retain for Earth's Future. A must read for everyone interested in Ecology or Nature Worship. ~ Dayna Well, I suppose I'm in the minority, but I wish I hadn't bought it and actually deleted it from my eReader to gain back the space. I made it just over half-way and finally decided enough was enough. But then, I don't care for stories written in the first person either, so maybe that's where this book's downfall was with me. Journey through worlds of people and spirit. ~ Raymond T. Anderson Delightful to read for its humor and twists of adventure, Zollocco remains close to the heart long after the story is finished. It is a deeply spiritual book without being sectarian. The author writes with attention to language, judicious use of detail, and sympathy toward her characters, allowing her readers to draw the mirror between the novel's universe and ours. We may even, if we wish, see humanity through the heroine who is both bright and passionate, sensitive and courageous -- and deeply feminine. Not only have I recommended this book to all my friends, I am reading it out loud to one of them, because the story is that enjoyable. ZOLLOCO ~ Jaymi B. ...I am spellbound by the rich imagination that Cynthia has employed in creating this wonderful book!! It is one of the best stories I have ever read!! Zollocco ~ Jason Avalez, CA
Totally enjoyable, hilariously funny in places, utterly original and the product of a very gifted imagination indeed. Please give us more Cynthia, and LONG LIVE THE FOREST!

and TitleTales. Book Reviewed: Cynthia Joyce Clay has delivered a stunning arrangement of short stories that deal with problems from a woman's perspective. Written in the style of fairy tales, many of these portray a deep understanding of the need to preserve the beautiful Nature with which we've been blessed. In my personal favorite, The Rental, a realtor has a difficult time boosting her career, until..

Vector Theory and the Plot Structures of Literature and Drama
Despite more than two thousand years of thought on the subject, a theory has not been produced within the performing arts or the humanities to define plot and its elements systematically, logically, and precisely. Nevertheless, such a theory does exist. It is from mathematics, used by engineers to create structures, and known variously as vector theory, vector analysis, or vectorial analysis. The premise of
Vector Theory and the Plot Structures of Literature and Drama is that the concept of forces in literature and drama are analogous to the concept of forces in physics. In physics, vectors represent the forces that push and
pull -- that move, propel, objects. Vectors will be used analogously to describe how characters, objects, and locations which are the
"bodies" of literature and drama reflect the propelling of literary and dramatic
"forces."
