Loofbourrow, MD
Dr. Loofbourrow is a board-certified family practice physician. "Doc Trish Explains It All!" On this award-winning web site, questions can be posed to the doctor via email on any topic for free. Answers are honest, straightforward, and without all the "doctor-talk"! Her newsletters provide information on health and wellness, medical alerts, book reviews, and quality health-related sites online. Dr. Loofbourrow graduated from Rush Medical College of Rush University (Chicago, Illinois, USA) in 1990. She completed a family medicine residency at San Bernardino County Medical Center (San Bernardino, California, USA), working with low-income and medically indigent patients. After residency, Dr. Loofbourrow worked in full-time private practice in Upland, California until shortly after the birth of her twin boys in 1995. She then joined the faculty of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center's family medicine residency program (Colton, California), where she taught family medicine to resident physicians. In May 2000, Dr. Loofbourrow left medical practice to stay home with her three children. She is married and lives in southern California.
